WOUTER
I am an amateur triathlete and have a big heart for cycling, running and the endurance sports culture. I live an active lifestyle with my wife and son and love to travel around the globe. I’ve seen some of the most beautiful places on earth for training-camps and sport events but am convinced there’s a lot more to discover. I’ve summited Mount Kilimanjaro in July ’11 and set my mind on completing a bigger (sportive) challenge year after year since then.
I have 12 years experience in the IT & Digital sector, of which 4.5 years as the co-founder of a Data & AI service provider. I’m experienced in Strategy, People Management and various commercial roles. In ‘22 I took a big professional jump and reoriented my career towards the sports sector. I’m currently working as Business Developer & Talent Manager at Poolster, a Talent Management Agency with a focus on (Olympic) athletes. I’ve co-started PARCOURS because I strongly believe it’s possible to combine a thriving family-, professional- and sportive life and want to pass on my experiences.

Sports crazy is what you can call me, Sören. From the age of 5 I was already running around on a football pitch and my first passion was born. A 20+ year football career – with an intermezzo of 3 years of basketball – was brutally ended by two mayor ACL operations on both knees. After a couple of years of lying on the couch and enjoying sports mostly passively, I finally put my running shoes back on and discovered my passion for endurance sports. Running, cycling and swimming became my new loves. Preferably combined in a triathlon. Marathon des Sables, Cape Wrath Ultra, Ultra Cycling Races, … there is still a lot on the bucket list!
Professionally I always loved to combine sports with my work. After finishing a Masters in Sports, Economy and Communication I started to work for different sports marketing & brand activation agencies. Creating and telling great (sport) stories for brands combined with real-life experiences is the sweet spot where I flourish professionally. With almost 20 years of experience I started my own experiential agency in 2023 and co-founded PARCOURS with Wouter. I truly believe that all the experiences an athlete indulges in can be used in a professional environment and vice versa. PARCOURS aims to bring you the best of both worlds and learn our participants more about combining sports & professional life for a better, more creative and healthier lifestyle.
